Ghost Valley

Spooky Theme Scenario

Ghost Valley - 2012

In the late 1840's, prospector D.D. Digger established himself in a rocky sunny valley where he had found what seems to be a really rich coal deposit.

He named the city Coal Mountain and in no time the city began to grow. The industrialization in the big eastern cities was always asking for more and more coal and the Digger family became really rich. D.D. Digger Jr. established the family estate in the early 1870's where he built a 18 rooms Dutch colonial house.

After World War I, the demand in coal began to drop as electricity and fossils fuels began to take over. At the time, the mine was depleted anyway and the town began to dwindle down as people began to leave for greener pastures.

D.D. Digger III was arrested in the mid 1920's as he kept selling coal that the mine could simply not produce. This scandal was known as the "Coal Gate" and it, in itself, was the last nail in the coffin for Coal Mountain.

After the "Coal Gate", D.D. Digger IV picked up the bits and pieces left by his father and moved east to start a toothpaste company. Go figure !!!

Coal Mountain, being isolated and far from all the new roads being built across the states, finally died in the early 1930's when the great depression hit the nation really hard.

Since then, the city was renamed Ghost Valley. The rare peoples who still use the road going through the city reports strange and spooky things happening in this abandoned city. Especially at night. Some say the they heard the cathedral bells as they went by and some swear they've seen Coal cars moving by themselves along the abandoned tracks of the old coal mine...

To this day, the Digger family still own the land where the city was built but unfortunatly it has little to no value.

D.D. Digger V, having made a fortune with his father's toothpaste company, decided to revive the memory of his ancestors as he returned to Ghost Valley to establish the spookiest amusement park ever... And D.D. the Fifth loves RollerCoasters...

D.D. Digger V hired you and you are now in charge of restoring the Digger's family name in Ghost Valley.

Go Now!!! There is a lot to be done...

Have fun...
