I like it. They look more modern than future. :)
Maybe some more details would be nice, maybe some neons here and there or
some metal trims on the outside as deco for an future "exoskeleton" look.

I agree and i remember trying that for an hour but the shape sadly just made it imposible to fit other parts in a way that looks good
