Why register?
Requiring registration to upload your works allows us to:
- Identify who really submitted what download
- Prevent uploads that break our upload terms of service - illegal downloads, etc. - because we can ban malicious users.
- For the Featured Coasters Competition, identify who really submitted what entry, and then lets us declare a true winner of the competition - one that is registered with the community
- Allow users to vote or enter only once in the featured coaster competition, while also keeping votes and entries private
- Recognize members of the community that upload a great deal
