Scenario #99, Quantum's Edge is finaaaaaaaaaaaaallly out. Fair warning though, this park is extremely, extremely difficult and you will fail at it several times. If you can make it through perhaps the toughest scenario out there, props to you!

Objective (don't let this fool you): 3,400 guests without the rating dropping below 700.

Beware.......enjoy!

This is easily the most difficult and fun scenario I have ever played. I wish good luck to anyone that attempts this scenario.

BlazingEmpireHD

As far as I know, you are the only person to complete it. Well done!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can't get it over the initial 700 rating. Tried a few times. Sigh.

BlazingEmpireHD

I made it really, really difficult. It's going to take a lot of trial and error - it is completable however. ;)

Just d/loaded this map. Wow....thank you for making this you madman! I've been wanting a new challenge. This is nuts though.

I have completed this scenario just now, and all I need to say is... wow. This scenario is quite a serious roadblock to conquer. What's more impressive is that I completed it on my first try.

So far I am having fun with this scenario. I managed to pass the first 2 months on my first try and am on my way to beating it.

Did you mean to leave a way to access the smaller island? Everyone has said the islands weren't accessible but I was able to. Not sure if it was a glitch or something.

I have no idea what you did but I just can't get more than 1200 guests... I'm circling around that number... you are an evil person... I hate this. also I could only access the smaller island. the other seems impossible. and that one tile in the main land that I couldn't purchase makes me so mad

This scenario is literally brutal. Whenever I reach the guest cap. It keeps bringing me into debt.

Thank you BlazingEmpireHD for this challenge. I beat this one handily (after a few trial and error attempts in the roller coaster designer).

O, right, this is the whole reason I signed up for this site to begin with, thanking you for this challenge while also bragging about how I beat it. So yeah, thanks. The scenario really kind of forces you to think of the game as a game, not a simulation. I don't like doing that too much in regular scenario play as it trivializes the challenge, so this was a welcome change of pace. At the same time it strikes a nice balance where it certainly is still beatable, and with more strategies than one.

What I realized at some point (mild strategic spoilers ahead, if you're looking to take this on yourself) is that I should not be trying to win with time and money consuming custom builds, I should be using prebuild rides. And I found the perfect ride to use, one that can handle the customers it attracts and with which I could make a design that can be placed around the map 17 times accounting for the one unbuyable plot of land and still leaving room for a little entrance area (with rides of different intensities that can raise the guests' happiness to the point where they stop caring and can just ride copies of the same ride all day). To my mild surprise my ideal ride was in fact not a coaster, I didn't build even one coaster in the entire park. In the end with all 17 rides installed I got very close to the goal before the numbers started dropping, but by that point I had enough money to make a big custom ride in the one place where my prebuild didn't fit, and to finally connect the paths into a loop as well.

I hope that if I put an adress of a picture it will just show the adress, so future challengers can avoid spoilers on the exact rides and placement:

I like how this has become such an infamous scenario that it even has its own dedicated listing in certain RCT1/2 wikis.

I never expected this much positivity and downright support from just one scenario. Thanks all for all who have played it, tried to redo it and even more or less hate me for it.
