The Great American Scream Machine was once the world's tallest and fastest looping roller coaster located at Six Flags Great Adventure. Both records were both beaten by Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point just a month after, but remained as the tallest and fastest looping coaster until Viper opened at Six Flags Magic Mountain in 1990.
The ride was removed in 2010 and replaced by Green Lantern which was relocated from Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom known as Chang.
