In a hidden lab unknown to the public sits the Hawkins National Laboratory, US Department of Energy. Inside lies the mysterious answers to these questions.

A portal will take you to an alternate dimension, known as the Upside Down. It is similar to earth, yet dark and mysterious.

Take a ride on a disorienting course as you explore this new discovery. Enter the lab, go down the elevator, and into a train. As you pull out of the station, you instantly transverse from the lab to the world of the Upside Down. Go up two vertical lifts and high amounts of inversions: twists, dives, loops, and more...

Finally return to the lab through the portal as the ride comes to a halt.

Other features of this park are two additional flat rides and a junior boomerang coaster.
