The park opened in 1978 in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. Merlin Entertainments has owned the park since 2007. There are 5 themed areas with 2 sub-themes. The Heide Park Resort opened in 2007. 9 coasters are present, including Germany's only Wing and Dive coasters.
