In Times of Shadows
Deep within the lurks of my mind, there lies the critical voice of a bully. It tells me, "I'll never amount to anything" and "you'll never be good enough. By the time I hear its fourth and fifth remark, I feel angered, depressed and hostile. With enough life experience though, I know that is the shadow that needs the light of consciousness that secretly empowers me to create for the sake of growing into my divinity. Through my humanity, I created this rollercoaster, with the simple curves and swirling movement. Like every dark thought, the light of awareness embeds it into an externalised artwork.
