I have finally reached a milestone - 400 custom scenarios created total! Here is scenario #401... the Land of Unyielding Despair (also known as Land of Undying Despair), the latest addition to the ultra-difficult Mythic Conquest scenario series.

Objective: To have 10 different types of roller coasters operating in your park, each with a minimum length of 10,500 ft (3,200 m), and an excitement rating of at least 7.00

That alone makes this scenario incredibly difficult. But wait, there's more! There are even more difficulty factors in play:
- You start with 15,000 but you have to deal with an initial loan of 125,000 and a maximum of 150,000. That, coupled with the 16% interest rate, WILL shred your finances, especially at the beginning of the scenario!
- No advertising allowed, which means attracting guests naturally IS the only way to go here for attracting guests to make your park money.
- The guests come in quite poor (33 on average), unhappy (23%), and famished (83% initial hunger/thirst). As if that wasn't enough, they only want rides with at least 9 intensity. What a combination!
- You will need to spend 200 per tile of land or construction rights. The grand total cost comes out to a scathingly high 4,418,600!
- Cool and wet weather, everyone's least favorite climate type.
- No landscape changes. After all, the landscape is still corrupted enough that it cannot be forced to change!
- Harder park rating and harder guest generation.

Needless to say, good luck with this one. You WILL have to build your coasters with LOTS of helixes just to get above 10,500 ft in length, and even then, I highly recommend that you take your time and not rush this scenario.

As usual, please let me know if you even complete this scenario as I want to confirm that it is indeed possible. There is no fail condition here, but still...

After 6 years i paid my loan back. From now on i only buy all the land and remove trees. The hardest part will be the 10 coasters. All i can say by now is that its possible to pay the loan back. 10 Freefall Towers "Escape Hatch" and 4 Extreme Heights Twister ( a Marcel Vos Coaster) do the job.

3200m of track for 10 coasters sound like quite a lot.

Yes, 3,200 m of track for 10 coasters is quite a lot, but this scenario is indeed beatable, although you might have to really make use of helixes just to avoid using up all the space in the park.
