This is my entry for Deurklink's Mini Contest round 22, which consists of building a dark ride. The rules consist of making a non-coaster tracked ride which is fully indoor and goes into multiple decorated rooms. I ended in 1st place.

My idea was to recreate Princess Peach's Castle, but as a dark ride. The entire building is the castle. You start the ride in the main room. Each other room represents the 5 first levels from Super Mario 64. Good luck identifying them!

The story I wrote for this entry goes like this:
"This is my reimagined version of Princess Peach's Castle as a dark ride in OpenRCT2. It uses the Super Mario 64 version as the base, but takes inspiration from other versions like Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Odyssey for other details.
The entry contains cut-outs that allow us to see part of the rooms of the castle, but you can also use the cut-away view to see more of the inside. The intended horizontal clipping is at unit 45. You can clip the park lower, but it won't be as polished."

I had a lot of fun with creating that ride. It was very fun creating each room with all the small details and references from Super Mario games that I could add.

See final screenshot for statistics.

This park was made with only 1 custom element: a color palette that I created named Accel Water + English Grey. It can be found in the "Water" section in the object selection when you create a scenario after you imported the object when opening the park. However, Wacky World and Time Twister expansions are needed to view the park.

NB: RCT1/RCT1 Deluxe installation might need to be attached to OpenRCT2 in order to view the park in its true nature.

I hope you like it. :D
