The options.txt file, to make true your RCT3 dreams
You saw those films on youtube with trams that intersect themselves, or splitting coasters that aren't the actual splitting coaster type, or you've seen incredible underwater rides.
Now this all can be done by just a few adjustments. But sometimes people don't find the right file to adjust.
Don't wait any longer, here's it all!
Installation instructions: make sure that hidden files are visible
Windows xp users: after downloading, cut and paste the .txt file in: C:/Users/[your name here]/Application Data/Atari/RCT3. Please make a backup copy of the original file first.
Windows 7 users: after downloading, cut and paste the .txt file in: C:/Users/[your name here]/AppData/Roaming/Atari/RCT3. Please make a backup copy of the original file first.
One last thing: I forgot to change the music back into "Summer air" of the game itself; now it has this song as background song: http://www.wh0rd.org/portal-ending-song.mp3 (The Portal © ending song ♪♫(You can have it too! Right click and save target as))

Copy it, paste it to note pad, save it, rename it, and put it in the directory file he told you about. No problem, nice helping you :)

Replace "Options.txt" in the directory above by another file with the same name and then copy the text as appeared. (save it back, else it was all for nothing.)

I really dont get this, this is my first rct3 download and i have a windows 7. when i click download i get loads of code but i dont know what to do next (im a rookie at this kinda stuff) :/

Endless thanks for posting this. For some reason whenever I enter the cheats in MY Options.txt it overwrites it with the old one on startup. For some reason with this Options.txt it doesn't. Do you know why that is?

Right clicked the download button, saved as target in my RCT3 Folder in my Appdata.
Works 100%!
